About Us

Who We Are

We are a nonprofit organization that supports people from the Federated states of Micronesia.  We help them to assimilate into our country and culture and then thrive.  It is difficult for them to do it on their own because of the language and culture barriers.

There are many different ways that these people need support.  Some examples are  as follows:  housing, health care, food, schooling, driver's licenses, getting jobs, managing finances, dealing with the IRS, flying, cars and various other needs.

Our Story & MIssion

In 2023, my husband, David, and I had the opportunity to visit Tulsa and spend time with the Chuukese community. What started as a visit became something much deeper for us. During that time, we met families, heard their stories, learned about their experiences, and saw some of the challenges they face while building a life here in America.

That experience touched our hearts and planted a passion in both of us to do more.

We began to feel that this was more than just a one-time opportunity to help. We wanted to be part of something that could make a lasting difference. That passion eventually became the vision behind our nonprofit.

Our heart is to raise funds and provide practical support to FSM families and individuals who are facing financial, cultural, educational, and everyday challenges. We want to help people become more confident, independent, and equipped to navigate life in America while still honoring their  FSM heritage.

We believe that true help is not only about meeting an immediate need. It is about walking alongside people, building relationships, providing encouragement and resources, creating opportunities, and helping families build a stronger future.

David and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve our FSM community. What began with a visit to Tulsa in 2023 has grown into a passion and a mission that is very close to our hearts.

We want to serve with compassion, empower with purpose, and give hope for a better tomorrow—one person, one family, and one community at a time.
